Water Outage and Boil Advisory for Lake Hope Area & Office Closing

January 31, 2025; Office Closing

The office will be closing at noon, Friday, January 31st. We will reopen at 8:00 am, Monday, February 3rd.

Should an emergency arise, please contact our after-hours service at 740-593-7502.

January 29, 2025; Water Outage and Boil Advisory for the Lake Hope Area

Due to planned maintenance, water service will be shut off starting at 9:00 am, Wednesday, January 29th for repairs in the following area: Lake Hope State Park, 27331& 27762 SR 278, Wheelabout Rd, and 71291& 71815 Shea Rd.

Repairs should be completed by 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29th. There will be a boil advisory for drinking water until 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 30th.

Consumer Confidence Report

The Le-Ax Water District has prepared a Consumer Confidence Report to provide information to our customers on the quality of our drinking water. This report is required as part of the Safe Drinking Water Act Reauthorization of 1996 and is required to be delivered to the customers by July 1st of each year. Included in this report is general health information, water quality test results, and water system contacts. If you did not receive a copy of this report, please contact the Office or you may download a copy from this website.
